Age Eligibility: The contestant's age eligibility requirements are based on a calendar year, not a pageant cycle​.  A contestant must be at least 13 years old on the first day of the state pageant and must not be older than 18 on the first day of the state competition. In order to compete in the state pageant, contestant must be a:

• Currently enrolled full-time student and will not be a high school graduate by the 2025 state competition (otherwise you are eligible to compete in the Miss Pageant)

• Medical and legal female, never married, not a parent

• Bona fide California resident

• Citizen of the United States of America

• Able to compete in all areas of competition
