Throughout her studies, internships, and professional work, Cassie noticed a lack of female representation within the STEM fields. Despite 74% of teen girls being interested in STEM, women make up only 27% of STEM fields. That is why Cassie founded SpACE Girls summarized by ACE which stands for advise, communicate, and educate.
Cassie closes the mentorship gap by providing monthly advising meetings with women of all ages.
Cassie reaches classrooms and after school groups through her collection of academic and career development presentations.
Some topics include:
Space Thermal Engineering + James Webb Space Telescope
Academic and Career Development
Women in the Workplace
Cassie educates students about all areas of STEM and STEAM though hands-on activities. These activities are designed to require only a few household materials and can be done on your own or with Cassie in-person or virtually!
